Koraal is an organization consisting of eleven foundations in Limburg and North Brabant. They provide advice and support to people with intellectual, physical, and/or psychosocial disabilities or challenges.
Accountability for funds
Processing decentralized funds was a major headache within Koraal’s administration. Employees spent a great deal of time ensuring that the accountability of these funds was properly recorded in the financial system. They had to perform many duplicate tasks and checks. In addition, there were many errors in the process. For example, cash discrepancies occurred frequently.
Flexibly managing decentralized funds
Because Koraal wanted more control over the process, they sought a web portal to flexibly manage cash, bank, and client funds. A key requirement was that the recording and accounting for these funds had to be handled by field staff. The final choice was Elari, as it best met the requirements and needs.
Smart payment cards in combination with Elari
