Social return
We organise volunteer days during which employees spend a day working alongside a social organisation, such as a healthcare facility or a charity. This helps us stay connected to the world where our software makes a difference. In addition, every employee has the opportunity to dedicate one day a year to a charity of their choice.
Nonprofit clients
As you can see in our customer stories, we primarily work with nonprofit organisations, such as schools and healthcare institutions. We understand that healthcare workers don’t want to be bogged down by administrative tasks when their clients or patients desperately need their valuable time. We understand that, as a school district, it’s difficult to cut back on administrative costs to free up more funds for the schools. And we understand that, as a collections agency, it’s simply unacceptable for invoices to go missing. Elari can help.
Sustainable travel
We encourage employees to use sustainable modes of transportation. There are several charging stations for electric cars right outside the building, and travel expenses for public transportation are fully reimbursed (unlike for travel by car, which is reimbursed at a rate of 25 cents per kilometre starting at 10 kilometres). For travel by public transportation, we offer an NS Business Card. In addition, we have implemented a bicycle plan, which allows employees to travel in a sustainable and active way. Air travel is only (fully) reimbursed when it is relevant, properly recorded, substantiated, and within reasonable limits.
Paperless working
By leveraging digitisation and automation, we operate virtually paperless ourselves. With Elari, we also enable other organisations to operate as paperless as possible. No more invoices or receipts lying around that need to be kept. They can be seamlessly stored alongside other digital data through scans and photos. Contracts can now also be sent via email and signed online, so printing is largely a thing of the past.
Plastic-free debit cards
In addition to physical Elari Cards, we also offer virtual payment cards. These are digital equivalents of the physical cards, but without the plastic. They offer the same secure and convenient payment experience you’re used to with our plastic cards. That means:
- No raw materials are used to manufacture virtual cards
- Virtual cards do not need to be shipped, which reduces CO2 emissions, among other benefits
- Virtual cards produce no waste
