Managing so many staff members, locations, and clients under one roof makes Prisma’s administrative processes quite complex. The sheer volume of manual administrative tasks was particularly frustrating for the care staff. Processing a transaction took an unnecessary amount of time, time that couldn’t be spent with clients.
“Thanks to the simplicity of the Elari app, staff don’t need an accounting background to process a receipt,” says André Koolwijk, then team leader of financial administration at Prisma. The system is so user-friendly that anyone can work with it. There are no general ledger account numbers visible that could cause confusion. With Elari, you have a clear process where everyone works the same way. You save a lot of time and frustration, and you prevent errors. Meanwhile, Prisma has 1,500 smart payment cards in circulation. “Describing Elari in a single sentence is complicated because there are so many options, but it’s extremely user-friendly,” says André Koolwijk.
Staying mobile with Elari
“It just works really well. The Elari app, in particular, is incredibly handy,” says André. “You can now even close out periods with it, just like in the online version. There are almost no limitations left when you compare the capabilities of the desktop version and the app. With the update that now allows expenses to be booked to clients, a whole new world opened up for Prisma. Precisely because healthcare workers don’t have much time to sit at a computer, since they need to be mobile, the app is a great addition to the system.”
